Jackson demands first-team assurance to stay at Chelsea under Alonso

Nicolas Jackson is set to return to Chelsea after his 2025/2026 loan at Bayern Munich, but only if new manager Xabi Alonso guarantees him first-team status. The Senegal striker wants assurances that he'll be viewed as a 'first-choice' player next season. Jackson scored 11 goals in 34 appearances for Bayern, playing backup to England striker Harry Kane. The 22-year-old joined Chelsea from Villarreal for £32m and has 30 goals in 81 appearances for the Blues. Chelsea sanctioned his loan last summer after spending almost £100m on Liam Delap and Joao Pedro. Jackson is reportedly 'happy' to stay at Chelsea but only if he regains his place in the first team for the upcoming season.
