Former England footballer John Fashanu has strongly denied claims by his daughter Amal that he's suffering from health issues, saying he's in good physical and mental condition. The 13-year Nigeria resident rejected Amal's statements that he's been laid low by a mystery condition possibly connected to heading thousands of balls during his professional career.

The former striker refuted multiple claims made by Amal in her Daily Mail interview, stating she visited Nigeria only two weeks ago (not every weekend for three months), doesn't manage his affairs, and that he's actually with his third wife Vivian, not the five marriages she claimed. "I don't have any issues with my head," he emphasized. "When I go to sleep, I sleep very well. There's no problem. When I'm running, and I'm still playing football, people are amazed that I'm still scoring goals."

John is considering legal action against what he calls false and damaging statements, describing his daughter's claims as defamation of character. He maintains he remains healthy and active while living in Nigeria. "My lawyers are currently reviewing the publications and considering the legal implications of the false claims that have been made," the football legend wrote on his Instagram page.
