Governor Uba Sani has commended Kaduna State pilgrims for their exemplary conduct during the 2026 Hajj in Makkah, praising them as references in diligent Hajj service delivery. The Governor received an update from a high-powered delegation led by the Executive Chairman of Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency, Malam Salihu S Abubakar.

The delegation briefed the Governor on the entire Hajj operations, from the sensitization exercise during 'Bita' to medical screening, airlift, activities in Madina, Makkah stay, Arafat, Muzdalifa, stoning at Jamrat, and return to Muna. Governor Sani reminded pilgrims that Hajj requires patience, perseverance, and total devotion to Allah (SWT), describing it as a spiritually demanding journey that is physically exhausting.

The Governor noted that the delegation's update aligned with reports he had received even before arriving in Saudi Arabia. The Hajj Delegation included officials like Professor Bello Ayuba, Hon Nazir Abubakar, Malam AbdulRaham Abuhunain, and Director of Operations Abubakar Usman Yusuf.

With Hajj operations running smoothly in Kaduna State, should other Nigerian states emulate Kaduna's systematic approach to Hajj management including sensitization, medical screening, and comprehensive coordination?
