Four-time NPFL champions Kano Pillars secured their top-flight status despite a 1-0 defeat to Plateau United on Sunday. The Sai Masu Gida finished the season in 15th position with 48 points from 38 matches, narrowly avoiding relegation from the Nigeria Professional Football League.
