KAROTA has directed the contractor on Zaria Road construction to reduce severe traffic congestion affecting Kano motorists. The agency expressed concern over delays of 2-3 hours for vehicles near Tamburawa and Kwanar Fari. KAROTA urged immediate alternative routes while the contractor reopened U-turns at Kwanar Fari, Immigration Office Junction, and Civil Defence Office. Future plans include opening a new route at Kwanar Tamburawa once construction completes. Motorists should consider alternative paths during peak hours.
