In an interview with The Sun, Walker stated that Maguire and Shaw have had 'the most impressive seasons for Manchester United in quite some time' yet were excluded from the tournament squad.
The Burnley player expressed particular concern about England's defense, questioning whether the selected defenders can maintain fitness throughout the tournament. 'This is where I have reservations about some of them, but ultimately, I am not the manager,' Walker noted.
