MeCure Industries Plc has appointed Mrs. Anderline Ndidi Dukor as its sole Chief Executive Officer, effective August 1, 2026, ending the company’s co‑CEO model with Mr. Arjun Udani. The board approved the shift to a single leadership structure to improve strategic execution, speed up decision‑making and strengthen accountability. Udani will remain with the company as Executive Director, Operations & Finance, overseeing manufacturing, finance, supply chain and other core functions. The announcement follows MeCure’s recent shareholder approval to raise its capital‑raising programme from ₦30 billion to ₦50 billion to fund expansion, bolster working capital and support the development and commercialisation of 19 newly approved pharmaceutical products focused on cardiovascular and metabolic therapies. The funds will also aid the company’s push into regional export markets, including Sierra Leone and other West African countries. Dukor brings more than 25 years of pharmaceutical experience, having joined MeCure in 2006 as a Superintendent Pharmacist and risen through roles in regulatory affairs and pharmaceutical operations before serving as co‑CEO since June 2022. With Dukor now leading MeCure alone and Udani overseeing operations, how might this unified leadership affect the rollout of the 19 new drugs and the company’s expansion into Sierra Leone and other West African markets?
