NDC Dickson to Inaugurate 21-Member Selection Committee Monday in Abuja
Former Bayelsa Governor and NDC National Leader Seriake Dickson will on Monday (today) inaugurate the party's 21-member Selection Committee in Abuja. The committee, chaired by National Chairman Sen. Moses Cleopas Zuwoghe, was constituted to strengthen internal democracy and ensure transparent candidate selection for all elective positions ahead of general elections.
The committee will review screening reports from both the National Screening Committee and State Houses of Assembly Screening Committees, with authority to make final decisions on aspirants' screening outcomes. This follows completion of screening exercises for governorship, National Assembly, and State Houses of Assembly aspirants nationwide.
Dickson will also host an Aspirants Dinner at 6:00 pm Monday in Abuja for screened aspirants and selected party stakeholders to promote unity and engagement. Attendance is strictly by invitation, reflecting NDC's commitment to inclusiveness as the party positions itself to field strong candidates across contested offices.
