NFFmourns former Super Eagles midfielder Henry Nwosu

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has mourned the death of former Super Eagles midfielder Henry Nwosu, who died in a Lagos hospital on Saturday morning at age 62. Nwosu's passing follows closely after the death of former NFF Technical Director and two-time Super Eagles head coach Chief Adegboye Onigbinde. NFF Secretary General Mohammed Sanusi stated the football community cannot forget Nwosu's immense contributions to Nigeria's football growth, both as a player and coach. Sanusi noted Nwosu was part of the 1980 Africa Cup of Nations-winning Green Eagles team. The NFF has expressed condolences to Nwosu's family and friends.
