NGX Group launches WhatsApp channel for easier NGX Invest subscription access
NGX Group has launched a WhatsApp subscription channel for its NGX Invest platform, allowing investors to start the process by sending "Invest" to +234 812 731 9521 on WhatsApp and then follow prompts to view eligible offers and complete subscription steps without downloading a separate app. Users select a stockbroker through whom their application is processed, keeping brokers integral to the investment journey.
This addition expands NGX Invest’s distribution ecosystem, which already connects issuers to investors through over 100 channels including stockbrokers, banks, fintechs, mobile operators and other financial institutions via API. Since its 2024 launch, NGX Invest has facilitated more than 23 primary-market transactions and supported over ₦3 trillion in capital raising. For issuers, the WhatsApp route offers a new way to reach a broader pool of potential investors and streamline capital raising.
NGX stresses security: investors should interact only with the official number and never share passwords, PINs, OTPs or other sensitive credentials. The WhatsApp interface sits atop NGX Invest’s secure, regulated infrastructure, combining the convenience of a daily-use app with the safeguards required for regulated public offers.
