NGX inducts 103 new dealing clerks to boost capital market professionalism

NGX inducted 103 newly qualified Authorised Dealing Clerks after they completed the 15‑day Automated Trading System (ATS) Brokers' Certification Programme. The ceremony, attended by NGX CEO Jude Chiemeka, market veteran Rasheed Yusuf, ASHON chairman Sehinde Adenagbe and CIS president Fiona Ahimie, celebrated the inductees' achievement and urged them to uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism and ethical conduct.

This induction expands the pool of certified market professionals as NGX works to deepen participation, strengthen institutional capacity and boost market integrity across Nigeria's securities market. The programme covered market structure, trading procedures, compliance requirements and the Exchange's operational framework, equipping the clerks to execute trades, facilitate capital raising, provide investment guidance and support retail and diaspora involvement.
