Nigerian investors lost a massive N2.29 trillion at the Nigerian Stock Exchange in just two days of trading, with Monday's N1.81 trillion loss followed by Tuesday's N478 billion decline. The market capitalization dropped from N158.697 trillion to N158.219 trillion, while the All-Share Index fell 874 points (0.35%) to close at 246,686.66, moderating the Year-to-Date return to 58.53%. Market breadth turned negative with 38 losers and only 14 gainers. PZ Cussons and Computer Warehouse Group led the decline with 10% each, while trading volume decreased to 718.8 million shares worth N29.3 billion across 71,683 deals. This bearish trend coincides with the implementation of the T+1 settlement circle from June 1, 2026. Should you adjust your investment strategy or maintain your long-term position amid this market adjustment period?
