Nigeria strengthens Ebola screening at all entry points amid global concerns
FG strengthens Nigeria's Ebola prevention measures despite no confirmed cases in country. Minister of Interior Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo announced enhanced border controls and screening at airports, seaports and land borders following high-level meeting led by Femi Gbajabiamila.
The meeting brought together NCDC, security agencies and health authorities to assess Nigeria's readiness against Ebola virus disease. Minister emphasized while no cases confirmed in Nigeria, government won't leave anything to chance. Nigeria Immigration Service, NCAA and other agencies collaborating to improve monitoring across all entry points.
