Nigeria VAT Revenue Jumps 10.66% to ₦2.28 Trillion
Nigeria collected ₦2.28 trillion in VAT during Q3 2025, a 10.66% increase from Q2 2025's ₦2.06 trillion. Local payments contributed ₦1.12 trillion (49% of total), while foreign payments added ₦680.23 billion and import VAT brought ₦479.79 billion. Manufacturing led sectoral contributions with ₦290.79 billion, followed by information and communication at ₦210.78 billion and mining and quarrying at ₦166.77 billion. This quarter's VAT growth reflects improved tax compliance and economic activity.
