Nigerian Army Rescues 19 Kidnapped Victims in Abuja Operation
Joint Task Force troops rescued 19 kidnapped victims and neutralized one suspected terrorist in a security operation in Abuja's Gidan Dogo area. The 7 Guards Battalion, collaborating with police and vigilantes, conducted the raid following credible intelligence on criminal hideouts. One bandit was killed in a firefight while others fled wounded. All 19 victims were safely evacuated. Troops continue patrols to prevent further criminal activities. Commander Brigadier General Adebisi Onasanya commended the operation's success and reaffirmed the Brigade's commitment to securing Abuja.
