Nigerian politicians spend ₦230m on Prado SUVs while hospitals lack incubators

Nigerian politicians continue purchasing ₦230 million Toyota Prado SUVs despite hospitals lacking basic equipment. Mahdi Shehu condemned this spending disparity on X, noting Prado funds could buy 20 incubators with phototherapy lights. He highlighted newborn babies in some hospitals are cared for on plastic chairs due to incubator shortages. Shehu also criticized billions spent on private plane charters for officials while critical health infrastructure remains underfunded. He questioned NNPCL's missing ₦600 trillion from 2017-2023 and called current governance 'inflicted never visited on any people on earth.'
