NNPP National Secretary Dipo Olayoku called on party members to remain focused and committed ahead of the 2027 general elections despite challenges. Speaking during the 11th NEC meeting in Abuja Saturday, Olayoku stated: 'The past three years have not been easy for this party. All our elected members and appointees in government, whom we laboured to bring into office, have left in the name of political realignment.' The party has faced setbacks with multiple elected officials defecting since the 2023 elections. Despite these challenges, NEC meeting concluded internal political activities from ward to state level, preparing the party for 2027. Olayoku emphasized: 'We must remain focused and work towards a stronger outing in 2027.' With several elected officials having left the party, can NNPP rebuild its political infrastructure and attract new candidates before the next election cycle?
