He revealed he was diagnosed in 2025 and has spent over N15 million on chemotherapy, radiotherapy, tests, scans and medications for his treatment. He shared his account details for financial assistance, stating that his doctors have advised he must continue with the next phase of treatment for the best chance of full recovery, but the financial burden has become overwhelming.
