The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) has arrested 10 suspects for alleged involvement in vandalism of critical national infrastructure, kidnapping, theft and related offences across the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and neighbouring states. This operation, conducted by the Corps’ Special Intelligence Squad and Crack Squad, follows credible intelligence reports and directives from Commandant-General Ahmed Abubakar Audi to combat economic sabotage and criminal activities threatening national assets. Recovered items include vandalised armoured cables and dangerous weapons used in illicit operations. The suspects will face court charges upon investigation completion. The NSCDC reiterated its zero-tolerance stance against infrastructure destruction, warning perpetrators will face full legal consequences. Residents of the FCT and surrounding states can expect continued efforts to safeguard lives, property and critical assets.
