NWFL Announces First Round Best X1 with Remo Stars, Rivers Angels Leading
Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) unveiled its first round best X1 for the 2025/26 season. Remo Stars Ladies dominated with three selections: Eberechukwu Eleka, Hannafi Ibrahim, and Nkiruka Obioma. Rivers Angels secured two spots with Abasiofon Uwah and Ramatalahi Kareem. Uwah leads the scoring chart with seven goals, while Uwah and Ramatalahi combined for 12 goals. Bayelsa Queens, Edo Queens, Abia Angels, and Nasarawa Amazons also featured selections. Rivers Angels head coach Tosan Blankson was named manager of the round.
