Raphael Onyedika is close to joining Turkish champions Galatasaray on a four-year contract worth €1 million annually, according to DAILY POST. The Nigeria midfielder has reached agreement with the Turkish club's representatives, while his current side Club Brugge have lowered their asking price to facilitate the transfer.

The 24-year-old is currently on international duty with Nigeria at the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco. Galatasaray, managed by former Super Eagles boss Okan Buruk, leads the Turkish Super Lig by eight points after 19 matches.

Onyedika joined Club Brugge from Midtjylland in 2022 for €6 million and has made 23 appearances this season, scoring three goals. His potential arrival strengthens Galatasaray's midfield as they prepare for next season's UEFA Champions League group stage.

For Nigerian fans, this move represents another Super Eagles player securing elite European football. Will Onyedika's technical quality help Galatasaray dominate Turkey or will the pressure of a title-chasing club test his development?
