OPay introduces XtraCova, a funds protection product reimbursing up to ₦5,000,000 for verified unauthorised transactions. The service covers security failures or criminal activities like identity theft, phishing, or malware intrusion. Users must confirm they didn't authorise the transaction for claims to be processed. Available in OPay's Security Center app section. Chief Commercial Officer Elizabeth Wang stated: 'Protecting customers' money is our highest responsibility.' This reinforces OPay's commitment to security compliance and customer trust in digital finance.
