Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen has urged the Turkish club to sign his Super Eagles teammate Tolu Arokodare from Wolverhampton Wanderers ahead of the 2026‑27 season. With Mauro Icardi set to leave at the end of his contract, Galatasaray will need a new striker and Osimhen sees Arokodare as a suitable backup option. The two Nigerian internationals enjoy a good relationship and mutual respect, having played together for the Super Eagles.

Arokodare’s debut season at Wolves was disappointing: he scored six goals and provided two assists in 38 appearances as the club suffered relegation from the Premier League. Galatasaray, meanwhile, are looking to strengthen their attack after Icardi’s departure and see the Nigerian forward as a low‑risk option who already knows Osimhen’s playing style.

The potential move would give Arokodare a chance to revive his career in Turkey while giving Galatasaray additional depth up front. For Wolves, selling him could recoup some of the investment made when he joined the Premier League side.

If you follow Wolverhampton, would you let Arokodare go for a fresh start in Turkey? If you support Galatasaray, would you welcome him as backup to Osimhen, or would you prefer the club to target a different striker?
