Politics PDP holds closed door meeting with states’ chairmen Published on March 2, 2026 By Vanessa Onah The National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, SAN, alongside members of the party’s National Working Committee, NWC, is currently holding a high-level virtual consultative meeting with chairmen of the party’s 36 state chapters and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT). The meeting is part of efforts to modernise the party’s operations and expand its grassroots reach in line with the provisions of the new Electoral Act. The consultation comes ahead of the official launch of the PDP’s e-registration process, which the party leadership says is aimed at strengthening internal structures and enhancing membership documentation across the country. Further details are expected to be communicated after the meeting.
