PENGASSAN demands Tinubu revoke EO9 oil revenue order
PENGASSAN President Festus Osifo told Arise TV Tinubu should revoke EO9 and set up a review team for the PIA. The union argues the 2% NNPC salary deduction from oil revenue could endanger workers. EO9 aims to protect oil revenue but PENGASSAN insists laws need stakeholder input. Osifo said "You don't put the car before the horse" and called for National Assembly amendments. This follows PENGASSAN's call for continued engagement after EO9's restructuring of oil revenue remittances.
