Poland defender Przemysław Wiśniewski believes his team deserved a share of the spoils in Wednesday night's 2-2 friendly draw against Nigeria's Super Eagles at the 58,000-capacity Stadion PGE Narodowy in Warsaw. The Red and Whites created the highest number of chances but were denied by Nigeria goalkeeper Maduka Okoye and their poor finishing. After suffering a 2-0 defeat to Ukraine last week, Jan Urban's side showed defensive improvement against Nigeria, conceding only twice. Terem Moffi and Paul Onuachu scored for Nigeria, while Kacper Potuski and Wiśniewski found the net for Poland. "Nigeria didn't have many scoring opportunities in the first half, apart from scoring," Wiśniewski noted. "We analyzed the match against Ukraine closely and will try to draw conclusions from Nigeria as well." The draw serves as preparation for both teams as they build toward upcoming international competitions.
