The operation, carried out on 26 January 2026, was conducted by the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) Social Vice Unit of the Borno State Police Command. During the raid, officers recovered 222 wraps of dried leaves believed to be Indian hemp. They also seized other suspected drugs, including nine Diazepam tablets, 401 Exol tablets, 327 D5 tablets, and 29 Tramadol tablets.
