Baridam, the Paramount Ruler of Bangha Community in Khana Local Government Area of the state. In a statement issued on Monday, the command’s spokesperson, CSP Grace Iringe-Koko, said an investigation into the attack has commenced. The gunmen reportedly emerged from nearby bushes, shattering the vehicle’s windscreen and other parts. The police spokesperson said the monarch sustained a gunshot injury to his thigh during the attack and is currently receiving medical treatment. She added that police patrol teams were immediately deployed to the area to comb the surroundings, as investigations continue to identify and apprehend the perpetrators.
