Presco Plc AGM approves ₦14.66 dividend, ₦236.7bn rights issue after record 2025 profit
Presco Plc held its 33rd Annual General Meeting on September 15, 2026, where shareholders approved the audited financial statements for 2025 and key resolutions. Revenue jumped 59.3% to ₦330.6 billion, profit before tax rose 57.1% to ₦177.9 billion and profit after tax increased 56.1% to ₦121.4 billion. EBITDA grew 43.7% to ₦211.8 billion while total assets rose 94.9% to ₦926.0 billion. A ₦236.7 billion rights issue more than doubled equity to ₦442.7 billion, and a final dividend of ₦14.66 per share was declared, bringing the FY2025 total payout to ₦44.66 per share.
The AGM also noted Presco’s acquisition of the remaining 48% stake in Ghana Oil Palm Development Company Limited and the purchase of Saro Oil Palm Limited in Cross River State, expanding its plantation base. New directors Ademola Adebise, Adewale Arikawe and Francois VanHoydonck were ratified, while incumbent directors were re-elected. Chairman Rasheed Olakanmi Sarumi praised the transformational year and highlighted plans to integrate operations across Nigeria and Ghana, improve efficiency and create sustainable long-term value.
