Presco Plc parent SIAT appoints Adewale Arikawe as new Group CEO
SIAT has appointed Mr. Adewale Arikawe as Group Chief Executive Officer, effective January 2, 2026. The announcement was made via a statement from Presco Plc's Company Secretary on January 12. Arikawe will oversee all SIAT subsidiaries, including Presco Plc, SIAT Nigeria Limited, and Ghana Oil Palm Development Company Limited.
He succeeds Mr. Felix Nwabuko, who retires after years of service. Arikawe has over 26 years of experience, previously holding senior roles at Royal FrieslandCampina and Nestlé Nigeria. He holds an MBA and has completed executive education at London Business School and IMD Lausanne.
This leadership change follows Presco's successful rights issue, which recorded 103% subscription earlier this month. The company has not specified financial targets under the new leadership but emphasized a focus on execution and growth.
With a new CEO at the helm and strong shareholder confidence demonstrated by the oversubscribed rights issue, Presco and SIAT are positioned for expansion. How will this leadership transition impact Presco's stock performance and your investment strategy?
