David Raya has sent a heartfelt farewell message to Karl Hein after Arsenal confirmed the goalkeeper's permanent transfer to Werder Bremen. The Estonia international spent the 2025/26 season on loan at the Bundesliga club and will now complete the move in July 2026.

Raya responded to Hein's emotional Instagram post, saying: "All the best Karlitos, wish you nothing but the best, pleasure to have shared dressing room with you." Hein reflected on his eight-year journey with Arsenal, calling it "a genuine privilege" that helped him grow from a 16-year-old academy player to a first-team goalkeeper.

The 6ft 4in keeper joined Arsenal in 2018 from Nomme United, made his debut in 2022, and will become Werder Bremen's new No.1. Arsenal expressed gratitude for his contributions and wished him well in his future endeavors. With the transfer complete, Arsenal may need to strengthen their goalkeeping depth for next season.
