Real Madrid denies Enzo Fernandez transfer rumors from Chelsea despite earlier Cucurella signing
Real Madrid has officially denied reports linking them with a move to sign Argentina midfielder Enzo Fernandez from Chelsea FC. In the statement, Real Madrid explicitly stated it has "not made any efforts, either directly or indirectly, to sign the aforementioned player and, furthermore, has no intention of undertaking such a transfer."
This denial comes despite Real Madrid already securing the services of Marc Cucurella from Chelsea earlier in the summer transfer window. That earlier signing had fueled heated speculation that Fernandez could be the next Chelsea player to join the Spanish giants.
