In a candid interview, Nigerian music producer Sarz (Osabuohien Osaretin) admitted he was 'very hot-headed' early in his career, thinking he was 'the best thing to exist in music.' The 37-year-old record producer revealed his excessive ego prevented him from collaborating with most of his colleagues.

The 'Back Outside' crooner explained this mindset changed over time as he realized he doesn't 'know it all.' That shift has opened him to working with and learning from anyone in the industry, including new artists who just started yesterday.

'I really wanted to impress everybody. I just thought I was the best thing to exist in music,' Sarz said. 'But now I understand that I don't know it all. I'm always willing to learn from anyone—even someone that just started yesterday.'

This admission highlights the competitive yet collaborative nature of Nigeria's entertainment industry and underscores how personal growth often comes through acknowledging limitations rather than pretending to have all the answers.
