Soludo commends Tinubu's approval of South-East road infrastructure projects
Anambra State Governor Professor Chukwuma Soludo has commended President Bola Tinubu for approving reconstruction of two major federal roads in the South-East: the 108km Otuocha-Anam-Abaji Road and 150km Oba-Nnewi-Uga-Ihube Road, both to be dualised. These projects connect Anambra to Kogi and Imo states respectively, targeting key economic routes.
The governor described the intervention as addressing decades of infrastructure deficits in the region. Upon completion, the projects are expected to ease longstanding transportation challenges, facilitate movement of goods and services, and stimulate trade and investment across the South-East. Improved road infrastructure will enhance regional integration while boosting socio-economic development and overall welfare of residents.
Governor Soludo praised the President's responsive approach to infrastructure development, expressing optimism that projects will be executed to the highest standards and completed on schedule. He urged continued Federal Government and state collaboration to accelerate development nationwide, reaffirming Anambra State's commitment to supporting initiatives that promote national growth.
