Sunbeth pays ₦25.1bn Series 1 Commercial Paper on time, affirms strength
Sunbeth Global Concepts Limited redeemed its ₦25.1 billion Series 1 Commercial Paper on the maturity date of 4 September 2026, meeting its obligation in full and on time. The redemption is part of the company’s ₦200 billion Commercial Paper Programme approved in March 2026, under which Series 1, 2 and 3 issuances attracted ₦165.73 billion in subscriptions—well above the initial ₦100 billion target—with Sunbeth accepting ₦150.4 billion across the three series.
The timely payment underscores Sunbeth’s financial discipline, strong liquidity position and commitment to honoring investor commitments, according to CEO Olasunkanmi Owoyemi. CFO Adeyemi Aduwo added that the redemption reflects disciplined capital and liquidity management, ensuring growth is supported by a funding structure that meets obligations as they fall due.
