Nigeria's Super Eagles will pocket $2.5 million following their defeat to hosts Morocco in the semi-final of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations. The financial reward is the same amount Egypt's Pharaohs will receive after their 1-0 loss to Senegal in the other last-four tie. Nigeria and Egypt will now battle for third position at the Stade Mohammed V in Casablanca on Saturday. The tournament's winner will take home a record $10 million prize, while the runner-up earns $4 million. Morocco and Senegal face off in Sunday's final for the ultimate prize. Is this prize money enough to motivate the Super Eagles for the bronze medal match, or is third place just a consolation?
