Primary School, Akombo near Ayiim in Logo Local Government Area of Benue State. The incident, which occurred on Thursday, also led to the destruction of seed yams, while gunshots were reportedly heard, causing panic among residents. The attack has deepened fears among locals about returning to their farms in the affected areas, with many calling for a stronger security presence to restore confidence. Speaking on the incident, Hulega Keghter Kenneth, said, “We thank God that no life was lost, but there is growing uncertainty about returning to our farms in the affected areas.” Authorities are yet to issue an official statement at the time of filing this report, while residents continue to call for urgent security intervention.
