Tinubu Approves Petroleum Reform Task Force

President Bola Tinubu has established a Presidential Petroleum Reform and Value Optimisation task force to drive structural reforms in Nigeria's oil sector. Chaired by Fola Adeola (Guaranty Trust Bank co-founder), the task force includes Ademola Adeyemi-Bero, Osagie Okunbor, and others. Its mandate: produce three reform blueprints within six months - an Implementation Toolkit, Capital Acceleration Blueprint ($5-10B liquidity), and National Energy Transformation Strategy. The group will report directly to the President, dissolve after final report submission, and coordinate with existing sector initiatives.
