Tinubuestablishes petroleum reform taskforce
President Tinubu approved a Presidential Petroleum Reform and Value Optimisation Taskforce to coordinate Nigeria's petroleum sector reforms. Chaired by Fola Adeola, the taskforce will produce three reform blueprints: an Implementation Toolkit for immediate fixes, a Capital & Liquidity Acceleration Blueprint targeting $5-10 billion, and a National Energy Transformation Strategy with 10-year targets. It will report directly to the President, dissolve after six months, and coordinate with ministries and existing committees to prevent duplication.
