The Kano State Fire Service Public Relations Officer, Saminu Abdullahi, in a statement on Tuesday, explained that the incident took place on Friday at about 4:04 pm at Ring Road, Kureken Sani. He added, “The victims were rescued unconscious and later confirmed dead, their bodies were handed over to their father, Ibrahim Shehu, of Unguwa Uku Quarters.” He stated that preliminary information indicated that at the time the incident occurred, the victims were trying to escape from suspected phone snatchers who were pursuing them.
