Victoria Inyama accuses Blessing CEO of faking cancer test results
Veteran actress Victoria Inyama has accused internet personality Blessing CEO of fraud, alleging she used someone else's medical report to claim a stage 4 breast cancer diagnosis. Inyama claims the test result Blessing posted belongs to a close family friend. This follows Blessing's emotional Instagram videos last Wednesday where she announced her diagnosis, appealed for public funds for urgent surgery, and mentioned selling her Lagos mansion and luxury wigs to cover costs. Inyama, herself a cancer survivor, responded with strongly worded posts wishing the allegations true for Blessing. Separately, make-up artist Deborah Mbara, through her solicitor, alleges Blessing obtained and doctored her medical report—Ms. Mbara was previously diagnosed with breast cancer but says she has been healed. The statement claims Blessing requested Ms. Mbara's test results, altered them with her own name, and used them to solicit funds. Blessing CEO has not yet responded to these allegations. The saga has divided Nigerians online, with many questioning the authenticity of her initial fundraising appeal while others await clarification.
