VP Inaugurates CREDICORP, Disburses N37B in Consumer Credit
Vice President Kashim Shettima inaugurated CREDICORP's board, highlighting N37 billion disbursed to 200,000+ Nigerians in one year. The institution aims to expand credit access to 50% of working Nigerians by 2030, building trust between lenders and borrowers. Board members include Otunba Aderemi Abdul (Chairman), Engr. Uzoma Nwagba (MD/CEO), and representatives from MoFI, NIMC, and FMITI. CREDICORP's goals include providing wholesale capital and credit guarantees through portfolio companies.
