Wike says Kingibe should read curfew decision
FCT Minister Nyesom Wike responded to Senator Ireti Kingibe's criticism of the FCT election curfew. Wike stated he thought Kingibe, as a Senator, should be able to read his statements. He clarified he did not impose the curfew without President Tinubu's approval. The curfew restricted movement in FCT from 8pm Friday to 6pm Saturday during Area Council elections. Kingibe had called the action unacceptable in a democratic society.
