Wike warns Makinde against starting unwinnable political fights

Federal Capital Territory Minister Barr. Nyesom Wike cautioned Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde against initiating political battles he cannot win during the PDP's 107th NEC meeting on Monday. Wike described Makinde's claims about meetings with the President as 'unfortunate' and misleading, stating 'A fight you can't fight, don't start it.' He emphasized politics requires strategy, not bravado, warning party members against treating politics as a business venture. Wike also cautioned against unnecessary political battles and urged loyalty ahead of the March 29-30 national convention, stating 'After this NEC meeting, anybody that doesn't show commitment... I will not accept that.' The FCT Minister stressed the need for unity and reconciliation within the PDP.
