The spokesperson of the FCT Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident in a statement issued on Sunday, noting that the command received a distress report from officers of the Rapid Response Squad during a routine patrol. She added that the Welfare Officer of Kwali Area Council, Sadiq Kwali, was contacted in line with standard procedures. Adeh also revealed that the Commissioner of Police in the FCT, CP Ahmed Mohammed Sanusi, commended the officers involved for their prompt response, professionalism, and compassion in handling the situation.
