Service restored to Elon Musk-owned X (formerly Twitter) Monday afternoon after global outage. Site functioning normally again around 1530 GMT following reports of international connectivity issues. Monitoring service Netblocks confirmed outage not related to government censorship. X spokespeople did not respond to AFP requests for comment. Musk acquired X in 2022, laid off thousands, and merged it with xAI. xAI to be absorbed by SpaceX with potential public listing this summer.
